Board Chair

Schadrac Pierre is a seasoned information technology professional and organizational leader with more than a decade of experience in network engineering, network security and enterprise infrastructure. As Board Chair of Pierre Foundation, he provides strategic leadership and works alongside the Foundation's executive team and Board of Directors to advance its mission, strengthen its organizational capacity, and create sustainable impact in communities throughout Haiti.

Throughout his career, Schadrac has supported complex, large-scale technology environments across government and international settings, developing extensive expertise in network engineering, telecommunications, enterprise infrastructure, and cybersecurity. His commitment to education is equally significant. Before advancing his career in the United States, he spent four years teaching at the college level in Haiti, sharing his knowledge of engineering and technology with the next generation of professionals.

Schadrac holds a Global Executive MBA from the University of Miami, a Master's degree in Network and Telecommunications from Stratford University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Haiti. Continuing his commitment to academic and professional growth, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Cybersecurity Management at Nova Southeastern University, further expanding his expertise in cybersecurity leadership, technology management, and organizational resilience.

His combination of technology and cybersecurity expertise, executive education, teaching experience, and firsthand connection to Haiti provides a valuable perspective in guiding Pierre Foundation's long-term vision. As Board Chair, Schadrac is committed to building a strong and sustainable organization that brings together professionals, partners, and communities to expand access to education and healthcare.

Through his leadership, he remains focused on ensuring that Pierre Foundation creates meaningful opportunities, strengthens communities, and delivers lasting impact for the people of Haiti.

David Joaceus

A U.S. Navy veteran, cybersecurity executive, and entrepreneur devoted to service and to Haiti.

David Joaceus, MS

Vice Chair

David Joaceus is a first-generation Haitian American, U.S. Navy veteran, cybersecurity executive, and entrepreneur with a career rooted in leadership, service, and innovation. As Vice Chair of Pierre Foundation, David supports the Foundation's executive leadership and Board of Directors in advancing its strategic priorities, strengthening organizational development, and expanding its impact in communities throughout Haiti.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Miami by his Haitian mother, David grew up deeply connected to Haitian culture and heritage. His mother's sacrifices and unwavering example shaped his work ethic, commitment to service, and dedication to giving back. He is also the son of Haitian actor, director, and producer Andre Joaceus, known for films including Angajman Matlot, Refije Sou La Lwa, and Diaspora San Dola. While attending college, David received a scholarship from the Haitian Americans Against Cancer Association in recognition of his academic achievement and community service.

David served 8.5 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy before building a distinguished career in technology. With more than 13 years of experience in network security and cybersecurity infrastructure, he currently serves as a Senior Cybersecurity Architect, leading engineering teams responsible for securing complex enterprise networks. He holds two master's degrees, in Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity Policy, and plans to pursue a PhD in his field.

An entrepreneur at heart, David is the founder of Sovana, a network monitoring and analytics platform, and co-operates an events business with his fiancée, Jasmine.

As Vice Chair, David brings military leadership, technical expertise, entrepreneurial experience, and a deep love for Haiti to Pierre Foundation. His commitment to service and community strengthens the Foundation's efforts to expand access to education and healthcare while creating sustainable opportunities for the people and communities it serves.

Secretary

Teri Pierre is a distinguished healthcare leader and innovator with more than a decade of experience in patient-centered care, nursing informatics, case management, and community health. As Secretary of Pierre Foundation, she supports the Board of Directors through organizational governance, documentation, communication, and coordination while contributing her healthcare expertise to the Foundation's mission and strategic initiatives.

Teri holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus in Nursing Informatics. Her professional experience spans hospitals, ambulatory clinics, and nonprofit organizations, where she has helped strengthen care coordination, expand access to essential services, and promote effective patient advocacy. Born and raised in the United States, her extensive travels have provided her with a global perspective on health equity, cultural competence, and the challenges affecting underserved populations.

A committed humanitarian, Teri extends her healthcare experience into nonprofit and community outreach, emphasizing education, preventive care, and thoughtful program development. Her leadership combines compassion with technical expertise, including the use of emerging healthcare technologies to improve outcomes, streamline processes, and better serve vulnerable communities.

Beyond healthcare, Teri maintains a strong connection to the visual arts and believes creativity can play an important role in fostering healing, resilience, and human connection. This perspective complements her broader commitment to developing solutions that recognize the dignity and individual needs of the people and communities being served.

As Secretary, Teri brings healthcare leadership, technological knowledge, organizational experience, and a service-centered perspective to Pierre Foundation. Her commitment to collaboration and health equity supports the Foundation's efforts to expand access to education and healthcare while building sustainable programs that create meaningful and lasting impact throughout Haiti.

Lonege Ogisma

An applied and environmental economist with 25 years of work on Haiti's development challenges.

Lonege Ogisma, PhD

Treasurer

Lonege Ogisma is an applied and environmental economist with more than 25 years of professional experience spanning economic development, academic research, environmental policy, agriculture, and public health infrastructure. As Treasurer of Pierre Foundation, he contributes his extensive analytical and economic expertise to support responsible financial stewardship, strategic planning, and the Foundation's long-term sustainability.

Dr. Ogisma earned his PhD from Auburn University, where his research focused on water quality, agricultural economics, and environmental and public health infrastructure in Haiti. He also holds a master's degree in applied mathematics and Econometrics from the University of Montreal, as well as degrees in Environmental and Agricultural Economics and Economics from the State University of Haiti.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ogisma has worked with a variety of institutions and development organizations in both Haiti and the United States. He previously led marketing and development research at Sogebank in Haiti and spent nearly seven years as a Senior Economist on a U.S. government-funded development project implemented by DAI in Haiti. His academic and field work has also included extensive research on access to safe drinking water, water-testing infrastructure, and the economic feasibility of water-treatment services in developing communities.

His research has addressed critical issues affecting Haiti, including cholera and access to water testing, the financial sustainability of drinking-water laboratories, agricultural productivity, watershed restoration, and the economic impact of modernizing agricultural practices. His more recent academic affiliations with the University of Florida have supported research in both U.S. and international settings, including collaboration with academic institutions and development organizations on farmer outreach and institutional challenges.

As Treasurer, Dr. Ogisma brings a unique combination of economic expertise, research experience, and firsthand knowledge of Haiti's development challenges to Pierre Foundation. His perspective supports the Foundation's commitment to responsible growth and to creating sustainable improvements in education, healthcare, and community well-being throughout Haiti.

Daphné F. Leblanc is a seasoned marketing executive, strategic communications leader, and community advocate with more than two decades of experience in strategic communications, digital marketing, brand development, and global engagement. As Chief Executive Officer of Pierre Foundation, she provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the organization, guiding its growth, partnerships, communications, and efforts to expand access to education and healthcare in Haiti.

Born in New York to Haitian parents, Daphné developed a strong connection to Haiti from an early age, spending summers in the country and building lasting ties to its people and communities. As a first-generation Haitian American and mother of three, her leadership at Pierre Foundation is deeply personal. She is committed to ensuring that the Foundation serves vulnerable communities with dignity while communicating its mission and impact with clarity, authenticity, and purpose.

Professionally, Daphné is an accomplished global CRM and lifecycle marketing leader who has driven engagement strategies for organizations serving more than 20 million users across 30+ countries. Her expertise encompasses customer engagement, digital communications, strategic partnerships, and brand stewardship. She has also shared her expertise as a speaker at prominent industry conferences, including Social Media Week and Digital Summit.

Daphné holds a Master of Science in Digital Marketing Communications from West Virginia University. Continuing her commitment to executive leadership and professional development, she is currently pursuing an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration (EDBA) at the University of Miami Herbert Business School.

As CEO, Daphné combines more than 20 years of professional leadership with her deep connection to Haiti and commitment to service. Her vision for Pierre Foundation centers on building a strong, sustainable organization, cultivating meaningful partnerships, and ensuring that its programs create measurable and lasting opportunities for the communities it serves throughout Haiti.

Pierre Hilario is a seasoned strategic and operating executive with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling, and advising businesses across infrastructure, real estate, alternative investments, and emerging technology. As Chief Operating Officer of Pierre Foundation, Pierre helps translate the Foundation's vision and strategic priorities into effective operations, supporting organizational growth, program execution, and long-term sustainability.

Throughout his career, Pierre has worked closely with founders and executive leadership teams to transform strategy into action. His experience spans business transformation, platform development, operational leadership, and new venture development, with a strong focus on aligning people, processes, and organizational goals to create sustainable value.

Pierre earned his Global Executive MBA from the University of Miami Herbert Business School, with a focus on strategic execution, finance, and organizational leadership. His extensive business and operational background provide the Foundation with a practical, results-oriented approach to strengthening its internal capabilities and expanding its impact.

Pierre lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children. Through his leadership at Pierre Foundation, he brings decades of executive experience and a commitment to expanding opportunity, strengthening communities, and helping create lasting, meaningful impact in Haiti.

Chief Financial Officer

Sergo Rene is an experienced educator, school administrator, financial professional, and community leader with more than 25 years of combined experience in K–12 education, institutional leadership, and organizational management. As Chief Financial Officer of Pierre Foundation, he contributes his financial knowledge, administrative experience, and leadership perspective to support the Foundation's fiscal responsibility, financial planning, and long-term sustainability.

A Florida-certified Mathematics Educator for Grades 5–9, Sergo has built an extensive career in education, serving in both instructional and administrative capacities in the United States and abroad. His experience spans mathematics instruction, curriculum delivery, higher education teaching, accounting, and executive leadership within educational institutions. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for creating engaging learning environments, implementing effective classroom management practices, and supporting measurable student achievement.

His diverse professional background provides him with a unique understanding of the relationship between sound financial management, effective organizational leadership, and educational opportunity. In addition to his work in education, Sergo has extensive experience in taxation and provides guidance on personal and organizational financial matters.

Sergo holds a Doctorate in Theology and is currently pursuing a master's degree in mathematics, reflecting his continued commitment to education and professional development. He also serves as Senior Pastor of the International Evangelical Center of Hope, where he provides spiritual leadership, oversees organizational operations, and supports community outreach initiatives.

As Chief Financial Officer, Sergo brings decades of leadership, financial knowledge, educational experience, and community service to Pierre Foundation. His expertise helps strengthen the Foundation's financial stewardship and organizational capacity as it continues its mission of expanding access to education, healthcare, and opportunities for communities throughout Haiti.

Chief Legal Officer

Ricardo Alexander “Ricky” Jerome is an attorney, entrepreneur, and community advocate whose professional experience spans estate planning, probate, real estate, business law, and litigation. As Chief Legal Officer of Pierre Foundation, Ricky provides legal guidance to support the Foundation's governance, operations, partnerships, and continued growth while helping ensure the organization operates responsibly and in accordance with its mission.

A South Florida native, Ricky earned his Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University in 2018, graduating with dual majors in Political Science and Philosophy. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin L. Crump College of Law at St. Thomas University in 2022. During law school, he competed nationally as a member of the Moot Court program, served as Executive Online Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review, and served as Treasurer of the Black Law Students Association. He was also a three-time recipient of Dean's List honors.

Following law school, Ricky spent two years practicing at a defense firm, where he developed valuable litigation experience representing clients across a range of legal matters. He later founded The Jerome Law Firm, where he serves as Managing Attorney and assists individuals, families, and businesses with probate, estate planning, real estate, and business matters. His practice emphasizes personalized, accessible representation and helping clients confidently navigate complex legal issues.

Beyond his legal career, Ricky maintains a strong commitment to service and regularly volunteers at Emmanuel Revival Church in Miami Gardens. He is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about making professional and legal resources more accessible to South Florida's diverse communities, including Haitian Creole-speaking individuals and families.

As Chief Legal Officer, Ricky brings legal expertise, entrepreneurial leadership, and a service-oriented perspective to Pierre Foundation. His guidance helps strengthen the Foundation's organizational framework and supports its efforts to expand educational opportunities, improve access to healthcare, and create lasting impact in communities throughout Haiti.

Javier Salinas Jr. is a retired U.S. military veteran and seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience leading mission-critical operations and delivering results in complex global environments. As Chief Development Officer of Pierre Foundation, Javier helps lead the Foundation's development efforts, focusing on strategic growth, partnerships, resource development, and opportunities that strengthen and expand the organization's impact.

A Houston native and graduate of the University of Miami, where he earned his MBA, Javier brings a leadership philosophy grounded in humility, service, and purpose. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations strengthen governance, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and implement strategies that support sustainable growth.

His extensive military and executive leadership experience has shaped a disciplined, mission-focused approach to solving challenges and building organizations positioned for long-term success. At Pierre Foundation, Javier applies that experience to cultivating relationships and identifying opportunities that can broaden the Foundation's reach and strengthen its ability to serve communities in Haiti.

Through his role as Chief Development Officer, Javier remains committed to expanding educational opportunities, increasing access to essential healthcare services, and building the resources and partnerships necessary to create meaningful and lasting impact in Haiti.

Nehemie Charlotin Senat

A Haitian physician and former Medical Director who shapes our healthcare programs on the ground.

Nehemie Charlotin Senat, MD

Chief Program Officer

Dr. Nehemie Charlotin Senat is a Haitian physician and healthcare leader with extensive experience in clinical medicine, healthcare administration, medical training, and community-based health initiatives. As Chief Program Officer of Pierre Foundation, she helps guide the development and implementation of the Foundation's programs, with particular emphasis on healthcare initiatives that address the needs of underserved communities in Haiti.

Born and raised in Haiti, Dr. Senat completed her education and medical training in her home country, earning her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Following her university studies, she began her medical career as an emergency room physician at CDI des Gonaïves, where she served for three years. She later joined the Centre de Santé d'Anse-Rouge, eventually becoming Medical Director and serving in that leadership role for approximately five years.

Dr. Senat also serves as a coordinator for Santé Pour Tous, an organization dedicated to training healthcare personnel and supporting Haitian communities through health education and medical services. Her work reflects a strong commitment not only to providing direct patient care but also to strengthening the knowledge and capabilities of healthcare professionals serving local communities.

For more than 12 years, Dr. Senat has also coordinated medical care activities for Compassion International, contributing significant experience in organizing and delivering healthcare services to communities in need.

As Chief Program Officer, Dr. Senat brings firsthand knowledge of Haiti's healthcare system, years of clinical and administrative leadership, and a deep understanding of the communities Pierre Foundation serves. Her experience helps ensure that the Foundation's programs are thoughtfully developed, effectively implemented, and centered on creating sustainable improvements in healthcare, education, and community well-being.
